About the writer

Lotta Petronella is an artist, filmmaker and writer based in Finland. She is co-founder of CAA (Contemporary Art Archipelago), a curatorial collective supporting site-sensitive work. She has been leading a multidisciplinary collaborative research project Själö Poeisis on the island of Seili for almost a decade. The works include a feature length film, a radio essay, lecture performances, a choir work, an apothecary and visual texts.
